The project
A first website, built from the brand up
Lianne came to us with a growing Reiki practice and no website, brand or fixed idea of what she needed. We created the branding and a set of brand guidelines from scratch, designed and built a calming Webflow site around them, and wired in Calendly so clients book and pay for sessions without a single phone call.

What was the challenge?
Starting from a blank pageA wellbeing practice sells calm and trust, and both have to come across before a client ever gets in touch. There was no brand, no photography and no website to start from, so the project began further back than most: working out what Soul Serenity should look and feel like at all.
The practical need was just as important. Session bookings were a manual back-and-forth, and every hour spent on admin was an hour not spent with clients, so the site had to take bookings and payments on its own.
How did we approach it?
Brand first, then a site shaped around itWe started with the brand: logo, colours, typography and imagery designed to carry the peaceful, considered feel of the practice, brought together in a set of brand guidelines so every later decision had something to answer to. From there we built the site in Webflow, with a calm aesthetic that aligns with the spirit of Reiki rather than fighting it.
Because this was Lianne's first website, we kept the process guided from start to finish, with regular calls and weekly check-ins, shaping the site step by step rather than expecting a finished brief up front.
What did we build?
Effortless bookings, easy to runThe finished site is calm, personal and simple to use: clients find a time, book a session and pay in one flow through the integrated Calendly booking, with confirmations handled automatically and no back-and-forth at all.
It is also easy for Lianne to manage herself, and built with solid SEO foundations so new clients discover the practice locally and beyond.
Can't thank Emma enough. She was so helpful from start to finish. I really had no idea what I was doing or even what I wanted. Emma rang several times and always checked in weekly with emails to help guide me through the process. I am so happy with the website, it looks amazing, and I've had a lot of interest in my work and quite a few new clients since launching. She designed all my logos, colours, pictures and branding too, which look great. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.
From the studio
Guiding a first website
Plenty of our clients arrive without a brief, a brand or a clear picture of what they want, and that is a perfectly good place to start. Our job is to draw the answers out: what the business feels like, who it serves, what the website has to do. Get the brand right first and the website almost designs itself around it.
